If opportunity doesn't knock, build a door
Monday, 27 September 2010

My friend wrote that status on his facebook, I really like that status, a good start to inspire your day.

This is the second month since I published my web. It feels so slow, but at least I know what I am doing and I love every second doing it. As I realized time by time that it might be getting harder, I prepare myself to accept all possibility that something will happen like I expected.

But business isn't anything that not challenging, instead, it requires you a thousand ideas to make it works like you always wanted, YOU JUST HAVE TO DO IT PASSIONATELY. And when you think you're about to loose, you might not know that you're so close to win and get something you never imagine before. And it's not like you already win a lottery, it comes slowly and before you realized, you have achieved your goal.

You just have to be patient...,
and of course, build a thousand doors for the opportunities to come knocking your door.

Thanks Ryan for your inspiration

Science and me
Tuesday, 21 September 2010

I am lately really curious with Science, Universe, and faith. I watched soooooo many episode of Factual program about universe on BBC iPlayer. I have watched the episode explaining about 4 main element of earth, the emperor of Solar System, and many of others. I might be just watching some of few science program, but it changed me a lot, it made me questioned about everything and it definitely change the way I am thinking.

The universe is made by just only chemical reactions, it all contains of those elements we learnt in the school. It truly is.

Those small things in the universe clashed to each other, attracted other small objects, evolved, processing, forming together to create big massive things you may call as planets, stars, etc. The universe is never created nor ended. It's always there, forming, becoming something, clashing, and re-forming. It's always like that. I was confused about those chemical reaction. If universe is full of chemical reaction, then how about creatures? how did chemical elements create a cell, a micro-biotic objects which form to create creatures that live on earth? I know that creatures in earth began from single cell of algae billion years ago, then those evolved to multi creatures earth having now.

But I got that answer from a children encyclopedia book : The DNA of a cell is made by hydrogen, carbon and oxygen. So yes, HUMAN IS A CHEMICAL REACTION.

So the universe is about forming, attracting, evolving, then clashing. It will not end, but it will reform by using the crashed previous elements to make a new better thing.

And that's how a life should be.

We went Camping
Saturday, 18 September 2010

Being Hippie is a lifestyle in UK. So many people love to go camping staying outside for few days in the summer, especially in Cornwall. There are plenty of people coming from all across the country to stay with their family. I forgot when did the last time I went for a camping, I used to not like it, but camping in England is really different.

First we went to Porttowan for a camp, but it was just short time and rather than enjoying outdoor, we just camped for sleep. This time we went to Sennen, close to Lands End. The camp site is very nice, it's called Travendra. It's like a field where so many home mobiles and people with tent stay. It was a bit windy, but it was ok. N chose this site because it's close to a surfing beach and you can reach it by walking only. I am really looking forward to do it again before winter begin. I am fall in love being a hippie.

One thing that bother me is that the toilet is far away. I dont mind to pee in the henge if there is no toilet around but if you have to walk to the toilet in the middle of the night, raining, it's annoying. It's hard being a girl, wish that I can have Pe*is like boys. But when we walked around wondering the town, I found this wonderful invention called SheWee. It makes girls pee like men, hahahahahaha... very clever!!!!

So below are the pictures.

Building Tent. This is inner layer of the tent so even it's raining outside, you won't get wet. And staying in the tent is really warm though
Sandal Outside

Around the camping site

Camping site facilities

Nearest Beach from the site
N, cooking the bbq

Then a day after, we went to bar for dinner. This is typical English Bar. Comfy, warm and... lots of beer!
Find an old pictures. Can you imagine how people dress ages ago?

I loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooove steak

Cream tea, done!
Public hand drying
Typical old public toilet. Free

in his day off
Friday, 17 September 2010

N got a day off unexpectedly, he was upset about it because he just change work and will not get any paycheck for this month, and as he is a self employed it means if he doenst work, he wont get any payment for that day. His boss cannot make sure how long he will not be working. But at the end we decided to enjoy it. We went to Crantook Beach on the hill and cruising along to enjoy the sunshine

Found the blackberry land. I was too excited about this and suddenly ran back to the car to get a cup collecting blackberries. I made smoothies as soon as we get back home.

View of Crantook Beach, Newquay, UK from above.

My goal is to inspire people to fight for their life

A dress or a house?
Wednesday, 15 September 2010

I don't know what to buy if I have $ 30,000 extra cash, this Armani Dress or a simple house in Indonesia?

I can't believe how dress can be such a luxury thing, from a piece of cloth to cover your body from nudity to a priceless piece in the name of art?

Why Top Shop?
Tuesday, 14 September 2010

Really, I am curious.

I have gone blogwalking for the past weeks, all blogs (especially Indonesian bloggers) always mentioning Topshop as their fave shop. I am really curious with this, why Top Shop?

In UK, Well, all I can say, Top Shop does bring affordable high fashion clothes, but still it's expensive, and I think they've just done well with the store visual merchandising and marketing at the end.

I didnt say i dont like. I dont mind actually, just curious.

Pardon my curiosity.

are you made to be an enterpreneur???

I got a very interesting article from browsing, taken from here

10. You are unemployable. You can’t hold a job. You don’t want to hold a job. And you react to getting a job the same way a cat reacts when you try to give it a bath.

9. You are anti-authoritarian. You can’t fathom the thought of being anything less than Boss, President, Chairman, Don, and/or Emperor.

8. You have the uncanny ability to get other people to do all the work.

7. You are always looking for and/or seeing economic opportunity everywhere and in everything. While at a concert, you occupy yourself by estimating the evening’s take and its gross margins instead of listening to the music.

6. You spend more time and energy looking for easier, faster, cheaper, more effective ways of accomplishing something than if you just did the task outright.

5. You would enthusiastically trade a life-time pass to Disneyland for one ride in the Vomit Comet. In other words, you would give up a secure, even-keeled, bland existence for a life that whipsaws uncontrollably between exhilaration and terror.

4. You don’t see lack of money, lack of knowledge, and lack of experience as barriers to entry. You are also not deterred by the existence of formidable competition.

3. You favor multiplication over addition and you lull yourself to sleep by calculating price-earnings ratios.

2. You would happily invest your home’s equity and your life savings (and your mother’s life savings) in your start-up.

And the Number One sign you are made to be an entrepreneur . . .

1. When you project future earnings, your spread sheet shows that by Year 5, you can buy Argentina and sell it to Brazil.

Good article mr. :)
